Bohemia Interactive, award winning independent game development studio is please to officially announce the forthcoming release of a standalone expansion pack to the military simulator Arma 2. Reinforcements will hit the shelves in the beginning of April 2011.

Arma 2: Reinforcements brings two independent factions – British Armed Forces and Private Military Company – onto one DVD. Play it separately in non-linear campaign or join friends in multiplayer battles with up to 50 players and hundreds of AI units. Find out the sequential dramatic events of Takistan, originally described in Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

Deploy a mechanized division of British Armed Forces sent to reinforce Coalition troops battling a large-scale outbreak of Guerrilla insurgency, or join the Private Military Company, contracted to protect a UN weapons inspection team in Takistan.

“We´ve received numerous requests from our customers and the community to deliver both expansions on DVD. We´re always trying to deliver something more and here it is, new campaigns, dozens of units all completely standalone to be played solo or to be combined with our other great military simulators into one ultimate pack.” said Marek Španěl, Bohemia Interactive’s CEO and continued.

“And that’s not forgetting the hundreds of superb community made addons/mods/campaigns which are fully compatible with all versions of our games including Arma 2: Reinforcements”

As a special bonus, each retail version of Arma 2: Reinforcements in Europe includes a unique printed, large map showing Takistan on the front with Shapur & The Proving Grounds on the reverse. Plan your military operations in style!

Arma 2: Reinforcements will be deployed exclusively for PC starting April 1st 2011. It will be available for EUR 29.99!
