Mortal Kombat HD Arcade Kollection is an upcoming release that features MK1, MK2 and UMK3 bundled together and totally remade. That’s right! This is not your Grandma’s upscaling. This is remastered HD graphics that are being built from the ground up. The game’s development was previously confirmed but no word on a release date nor a price. Until now.
(duh duh duuuuh)
A major UK retailer now has the game listed for pre-order with a November release date and $39.99 price.
The listing only has a Playstation 3 version which could point to an exclusive but it seems more likely that Sony is getting a timed exclusive where the Xbox 360 will come out at a later date.
Also rumored is a pack in demo of the upcoming Mortal Kombat game set to release next year. Killer!
You knew it was coming but it’s finally official: Microsoft has announced the retail bundle that sends their new slim Xbox 360 and the Kinect motion sensor on a happy picnic. And what do you get to snack on for that happy picnic? Your very own copy of Kinect Adventures! So for all of those that were waiting to pick up a newer, slimmer, quieter, greener and shinier Xbox 360, now is your chance!
The bundle will come in two flavors: a 4GB version that retails for $300 and a 250GB version that retails for $400. Keep in mind that the smaller bundle is the matte finish on the console. So if you want the shiny shine, you might have to splurge for the bigger one. Or break out your glossy clear coat can.
Of course, if you don’t need a new console, you can just opt for the Kinect unit on its own with the Kinect Adventures picnic. But who wants to eat alone?

Not that anyone is really surprised, but Viewtiful Joe and Dormammu have both been confirmed for Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Their silhouettes were both on keyart shown at the game’s first announcement but having an official word is always nice.

The world’s greatest comic book game is getting a sequel. Batman Arkham Asylum changed the way that people view comic licensed games and everyone’s been eagerly awaiting a sequel. We got word about a sequel from Spike Video Game awards but nothing more. Well, a trickle of information has come out and we finally learn the new name: Arkham City. That’s right. The criminals are taking it to the streets and Batman will have a full area of Gotham city to run around instead of little ol’ Arkham Island.

This official announcement comes weeks after WBIE register an onslaught of Batman related domain names, finally making an official title. You can see the other addresses below. We expect that at least a few of them will play into the inevitable viral marketing scheme that will come out before the game drops in Fall 2011.
