Deep Silver revealed today Dead Island’s packshots. The game is developed by Techland, is rated 18 and is scheduled for a 2011 release. It will be an open ended game that can be best described as a mix of Far Cry 2 and Dead Rising/Left 4 Dead. Dead Island combines first-person action with a heavy focus on melee combat. Players will also be able to develop their characters and customize a vast array of weapons.
