Hey there, gamer-friends! Looks like the word is out from Ninty, via press release this morning, that Monster Hunter Tri and the new Classic Controller Pro are going to be released as a bundle for the Nintendo Wii in April, all for a relatively slick price point of $59.99.

For those not looking forward to Monster Hunter Tri (What? Could you not? You get to fight dragons! And fighting dragons is ALWAYS cool.) but still want in on the Classic Controller Pro goodness, the controller only will sell for $19.99 and will come in either black or white. The Monster Hunter Tri bundle will come packaged with a black controller. Price for game only without without a classic controller: $49.99.

Another $10 and you get the very slick looking Classic Controller Pro. Looks like a DualShock controller to me, and that isn’t a bad thing. The only drawback it seems to have is that you still have to plug it into the Wii Remote. Oh, how I long for the days of truly cordless Wii Classic Controller use. Regardless, the addition of the second row of shoulder buttons and better handgrips on the Classic Controller Pro is very much welcome.

You can check out the Monster Hunter Tri Trailers at the Capcom’s Japanese Site.

Monster Hunters Tri/Wii Classic Controller Pro Bundle will be available in North America on April 6th, 2010!  Pre-Orders available!
