Sniper: Ghost Warrior dominates European PS3 sales charts

By on May 11, 2011

Good news for City Interactive, as their latest FPS game, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, seems to dominate the European PS3 sales charts. The game didn’t sell well to both PC and X360 when it was originally released but City Interactive decided to make number of key enhancements to the game. And it seems that those changes did really pay off.

According to the press release, Sniper: Ghost Warrior has climbed to the top of the German PS3 sales charts, to the second place in the Swiss PS3 charts, to the third place in the English PS3 sales charts and to the fourth place in the French PS3 charts.

This will eventually benefit all of us, as the budget of its sequel will be higher. City Interactive has already announced its development, it will be based on Crytek’s CryEngine 3 game engine and will be unveiled in this year’s E3.
