When BioWare revealed the third part of Mass Effect series, we kind of knew that it would be delayed. And we were right. Despite BioWare’s attempts to finish and release the game in Holiday 2011, Casey Hudson confirmed that the game will be released in the first three months of 2012. BioWare released 8 new screenshots of the upcoming third part of Mass Effect. These latest screenshots offer us a first look at Anderson, a Krogan Geth, and what might just be the back of Liara’s head. Graphics wise, Mass Effect 3 looks great. As we can see, BioWare overused some post-processing effects in order to offer a more cinematic experience. Motion blur and DoF can be easily spotted, as well as ambient occlusion. Mass Effect fans, here are some good news. BioWare released today the first two screenshots of the third and final part of the Mass Effect series. The game looks great with slightly better textures than its predecessors. There’s really nothing to write home about, so enjoy them after the jump.
