BioWare released a new patch for their RPG, Dragon Age 2. This patch fixes various gameplay issues and quests glitches. Additionaly, it improves performance under DX11 and limits crashes. BioWare released a beta patch for the PC version of Dragon Age 2. Sadly, this patch does not address the performance issues that a lot of PC gamers have been experiencing. Instead, this beta patch updates the game’s version to 1.1 and fixes various issues involving save games, controls and a Steam-related problem related to voiceovers not playing. It’s really funny witnessing such a harsh punishment for an unfortunate member of BioWare’s forums. Arno was a regular guy that was quite disappointed with the release of Dragon Age 2. If you’ve been playing Dragon Age 2, you will surely have experienced low performance under the DX11 API. Actually, the performance is exactly the same with the demo version of the game. BioWare stated when the demo was released that DX11 renderer had issues that were fixed in the final version. Fast forward a couple of days and we can see that nothing has changed. BioWare has released the launch trailer of its latest RPG, Dragon Age 2. As you will immediately notice from this trailer, the game is more action packed. Now this is not a bad thing for an RPG, if both role playing and action sequences are carefully balanced. Sadly, this is not the case with Dragon Age 2.
