By now, most PC gamers will be cursing EA Sports. And who wouldn’t if the impact engine was only featured in the X360 and PS3 versions? However, it’s time to relax and take a closer look at this matter. How the rumor got started? It’s basically EA’s and Eurogamer’s fault. In their Fifa 12 press release, they stated that the impact engine would only be available to X360 and PS3. EA released a new trailer for The Sims 3. This trailer is based on the Hangover movie and looks… well it’s cute and funny but nothing breathtaking or special to write home about. We knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of time. BioWare revealed that they are working on Dragon Age’s third part. Most DA2 fans will be delighted with these news but dear God, let BioWare take their time this time around and give us a worthy successor to Dragon Age: Origins. Fifa 12 – 11 PS3/X360 Screenshots
EA released today along with Fifa 12′s debut trailer, 11 screenshots for the PS3 and X360 versions. The game looks great, although they have a lot of AA. This kind of AA is not possible with current generation consoles if a developer wants their game to actually be playable. It’s actually the classic photoshop trick/touch that most press release screenshots feature these days. Fifa 12 will be released this Fall on most platforms. The next generation version will also sport a brand new menu system, 500 officially licensed clubs and an all-new Career Mode. Check out the screenshots after the jump. New footage from Battlefield 3 through EA’s PWNED #7 Episode
The seventh episode of EA Pwned features some new footage of Battlefield 3. Watch and drool over it. The developers talk about the animation system, the scale of the game, its rendering system and the general interaction. There is also some behind the scenes footage of the Back To Karkand DLC.
