The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb Dated and Trailered

Wrath of the Lamb

One of my most replayed games last year was the Binding of Isaac, that’s all thanks in part to there being no save function and you’ll have to restart from the first level each and every time. For a bit, we’ve known about a DLC expansion coming called the Wrath of the Lamb, that would feature a ton of new content.  Ton of new content, as in 10+ bosses, 100+ items, 20+ enemies, 4 chapters, 6 rooms, 40+ unlocks, 4 new tracks, unlockable character – Samson, 7+ new “random happenings”, 5 new ultra rare pickups, 5 new cards, 4 new pills, 10 challenges, more achievements, and a new real final chapter with a boss and new endings.  That’s just what we know about from a few previous reveals by Edmund McMillen on his twitter.

Just yesterday, we got a new trailer for the expansion, but sadly, this trailer doesn’t show off the game in action.  With that said, it’s still interesting to watch.  As a note, quite a few flashing lights near the end.

We also have a firm release date now for the Wrath of the Lamb, which will be coming out on May 28th for $3.  Also, if you still haven’t played the Binding of Isaac you should really go and do it, as it’s only $5.
