BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 Coming to Nintendo 3DS and PSP this year
Zen United and PQube announced today that BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 will be coming to Europe for Nintendo 3DS and PSP this year. BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 is the sequel to last year’s 2D fighting game, BlazBlue Continuum Shift. We really need this kind of fighters, as BlazBlue series shows how cool 2D HD fighters can be. Imagine for example a proper HD version of The King Of Fighters or a HD remake of Mortal Kombat 2. Now that would be awesome.
“Described by Official PlayStation Magazine as ‘by far the best fighting game on the PSP’, BlazBlue is perfectly suited to handhelds.” said Geraint Evans, Marketing Manager at Zen United. “Continuum Shift 2 will strengthen that reputation while opening up the BlazBlue experience to a whole new audience of gamers on 3DS.”
Furthermore, the 3DS version will utilize the handheld’s 3D technology. We don’t know how good the 3D effect will be, but here is hoping that it will offer high degrees of convergence for amazing pop-out effects.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 will also include all the DLC characters from its predecessor and it will be available on 3DS and PSP later this year.
