‘PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken was a typo’ says Capcom
PC gamers were delighted with the official announcement of Street Fighter X Tekken’s PC version. It seems however that the PC version was announced too early, so hold your horses PC gamers before jumping to early conclusions. According to Capcom, the PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken was basically a typo. The game is now listed only for X360 and PS3.
On the other hand, Capcom’s Community Manager wrote at the official forum that the PC version was listed on the FAQ sheet when it shouldn’t have been there.
“I can’t say that it’s happening and I won’t say that it isn’t happening… apologies for the confusion. It was listed on the FAQ sheet when it shouldn’t have been there. I realize that’s raising more questions than its answering but stay tuned.” wrote Sven.
This basically means that Capcom announced the PC version too early. Our guess is that Capcom will wait to see how the SSF4AE PC does and will then decide if and when they’ll port Street Fighter X Tekken to the PC. In other words, SFXT’s PC port depends on SSF4AE’s success!
