WIC: Modern Warfare Mod 2 Open Beta Release 6

World In Conflict is one of the best strategy games we’ve ever played, especially its Multiplayer mode. Massive Entertainment really delivered and deserved every bit of its success, as both WiC and Ground Control were exceptional games. They were more action packed than most of the other strategy games at their time and they managed to influence a lot of other, traditional realtime strategies. Like for example C&C4 that was a failure, compared to Massive’s little diamonds.

The ‘WIC : Modern Warfare Mod Team’ has just released the latest Open Beta version of their mod for World In Conflict. As the title suggests, this mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.
