Battlefront.com announced today that their latest new tactical turn-based/real-time WWII game, Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy, has just been released. The game is now available on both PC and Mac. Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy is not sold in stores and can be only purchased directly from BattleFront’s website.

Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy uses a turn-based/real-time hybrid game system that is based on BattleFront’s CMx2 battle engine and takes place during the three months after the Allied D-Day landings in Normandy in June 1944.

According to BattleFront’s press release, downloads are available immediately and the mail deliveries will begin in the next few days in the order they have been received. Till you get the mail however, you can enjoy Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy’s Demo.

Moreover, the Limited SteelBook Edition is still available in very low numbers. You will get it by simply purchasing the game, provided that the Edition hasn’t run out. When this SteelBook Edition runs out, players that purchase the game will receive the DVD disc, a printed 200 page manual as well as a DVD amaray case.
