Firefall is going to be playable at PAX East

Great news for fans of Red 5 Studios’ latest MMORPG that are attending the Penny Arcade Expo in Boston, this week, as Firefall will be playable. That’s why after all Red 5 Studios decided to increase the size of Firefall’s booth. Red 5 Studios will invite attendees to battle it out live in player versus player team matches on a brand new area of Firefall’s gorgeous world.

“We talked a lot about our open-world cooperative campaign at PAX in Seattle, and focused on our dynamic missions”, said executive producer, James Macauley. “Meanwhile, around the office, we were having a blast tearing into each other in our versus battlemaps. For PAX East, we’re really excited to share this with people outside of Red 5 for the first time and to let gamers feel the rush of army vs army combat in a fun, competitive arena. We really think they’re going to like the intense team-based action of Firefall and just how frantic battles can be.”

If you can’t attend PAX East, you can apply for the beta test as Red 5 Studios is currently accepting applications for the beta program of Firefall, scheduled to go public later this year.
