Brink will be released one week earlier

Bethesda announced today that their upcoming FPS Brink, will hit the shelves a week earlier than initially planned. As a result, European gamers will be playing Brink on 13th May, while US gamers will be playing it on 10th May. The game is developed by Splash Damage and will be released for PS3, X360 and PC.

“Production wrapped on Brink earlier than we planned and we didn’t see any reason to keep gamers from getting their hands on this highly anticipated game as soon as it was ready,” said Bethesda’s Marketing Manager, Pete Hines and continues.

“It’s apparent from the tremendous reaction so far that people are eager to jump online and play, and if we can make that happen earlier – we’re going to.”
