Electrohub Wireless Charging Pad Gets Redesign & Price

By on January 12, 2011

Power Up! (I think I hear the Zuess voice from Altered Beast)

It’s really cool being able to see the evolution of the new technology year to year. I remember last year at CES the Electrohub was debuted but in an early form. And early it was.

Seems like the unit got a 2011 facelift, a great price drop and now can be a real contender for wireless charging mats.

As I reported earlier, this wireless charger mat featuring induction technology and features the ability to charge almost any device with that “drop and go” feature. Alas, of course you get the associated battery for it. However the real good thing about this announcement is not only the price and design (that it can charge up to 6 items) but it’s going to come with your choice of induction charger battery for either the Wii, PS3 or XBOX 360 controllers. Also planned is the standard AA & AAA household rechargeable that will launch later in the year.

Take a look at some hands-on with the new Electrohub wireless induction charger.

You can now get an early reserve on the Electrohub charger above for $39!
