Free Realms Franchise Celebrates Two Year Anniversary

Today officially marks the two year anniversary of Sony Online Entertainment’s free-to-play online virtual world Free Realms on Windows PC!  To compliment SOE’s two year milestone celebration, Free Realms also recently surpassed 17 million registered users on the PC, MAC and PlayStation 3 platforms!

Since the game launched on PC April 28th, 2009, it has received high praise from gamers across the globe thanks to its blend of real-world and fantasy elements, creating unlimited opportunities for players to explore and create.

As part of its continued effort to make Free Realms as good as it can get, SOE ushered in a number of entertaining and exciting game updates this past year. Highlights include:

  • New Houses and Lots to amp up the customization and creativity for one of Free Realms‘ gamers favorite pastimes.
  • New RIDES including fire-breathing dragons, bicycles, balls of fire, a robotic T-rex, and airborne skateboards!

Free Realms is a free-to-play online virtual world, now available on Windows PC, MAC and PlayStation Network. The game features an endless array of gameplay activities, minigames, and adventures to entertain both adults and kids.
