Frima Studio Partners with Blade Creator ‘Marv Wolfman’ to Develop a New Game

Frima Studio announced today a new partnership with Marv Wolfman. In case you didn’t know, Marv Wolfman is an award-winning comic book writer and has been writing comics for more than 40 years. Among other things, Marv Wolfman is the creator Blade, super-villain Bullseye, and the New Teen Titans. Moreover, according to the press release this new IP will be an experimental action-adventure console game.

“We want to partner with the top IP creators in the world,” said Frima CEO Steve Couture, “and Marv Wolfman is definitely high among them with his outstanding track record of creating high-profile, popular characters and stories. Marv brings with him an incredible amount of imagination, inspiration, and experience. With this collaboration, we’re looking forward to delivering a new, immersive experience to the video game genre.”

Wolfman has been writing comics for more than 40 years, and has created dozens of unique characters, including Blade, super-villain Bullseye, and the New Teen Titans. He has written for both DC Comics and Marvel Comics with the rare distinction of having written series runs for Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man, amongst many others. He is perhaps best known for his work on the seminal DC cross-over event, “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” No stranger to gaming or television, Wolfman has also developed properties for Sony Online Entertainment and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, as well as serving as writer for animated television classics Transformers and GI Joe.
