A Game Of Thrones: Genesis will be a PC exclusive

Fans of the Game Of Thrones TV series, in which stars Sean Bean, here is something special for you. According to PC Gamer, A Game Of Thrones: Genesis will be a real-time strategy game that will be set centuries before the events of the fantasy novels and TV series. The game is scheduled for a Q3 2011 release, exclusively on PC platform. A Game of Thrones: Genesis promises to feature a unique experience and will allow players to be part of many of the background events in the history of the Seven Kingdoms.

Regis Robin, Game designer at Cyanide Entertainment, said:

“This might sound pretentious, but we believe that A Game of Thrones: Genesis is like no other RTS. Obviously, we’ve adapted some of the RTS codes, but gameplay is totally different. It’s a bit like the books in a way. They really are like no other reading
experience.”
