Halo: Reach Defiant Map Pack available on March 15th – Behind The Scenes video available
Microsoft announced that the much anticipated map pack for Halo: Reach will be released on March 15th. The map is called Defiant Map Pack and contains three action-packed new multiplayer maps. In preparation for the epic multiplayer mayhem, 343 Industries released ‘the making of the Halo: Reach Defiant Map Pack’ video. Available for download today in Halo Waypoint on Xbox LIVE, HaloWaypoint.com and Waypoint on Windows Phone 7, this video features interviews with the development team on the design inspirations behind those new maps, and a preview of the multiplayer action.
The “Halo: Reach” Defiant Map Pack introduces a total of three new battlefields – Condemned, Highlands and Unearthed – for epic competitive multiplayer and for the first time, a brand new Firefight level. Created in partnership with Certain Affinity, the Defiant Map Pack will be available for 800 Microsoft Points and will feature all new Achievements worth a total of 150 Gamerscore. Furthermore, those who haven’t experienced yet Halo:Reach will be able to download it on Games on Demand the same day (15 March).
Finally, 343 Industries will partner with renowned machinima pionners, ‘Red vs Blue’, to create a walkthrough video of the new maps that will be released on March 14th.
