Hellgate Returns with Closed Beta this June
Great news for fans of Flagship Studios’ game, Hellgate: London. Hellgate will return to North America this June with a closed beta phase. T3 Entertainment, Redbana and HanbitSoft have teamed up to bring Hellgate back to North America. The game will be free-to-play and is scheduled for a 2011 release. Hellgate fans, rejoice. At last you will be able to enjoy it the way it was meant to be.
Hellgate: London was originally released in 2007. When Flagship Studios shut down in 2008, the game’s servers were also taken down. On November 12, 2009, Korean-based game developer HanbitSoft announced the re-development of Hellgate. The game was then launched in Korea as a free-to-play game that was also enhanced with a new expansion titled, Hellgate: Tokyo.
It took them almost three years to bring Hellgate back to North America but here it is. Prepare your gaming mice everyone!
