  I’m pretty sure that there will be more characters than posted, secret unlockable characters, and secret downloadable characters. Hopefully we get more of the former than the latter.

  Jesus, why so many x-men characters, dont get me wrong, i love them, but theres no much room in this game, compared to the last one, so its like the x-men represent the major of marvel characters, and thats not fair, and, man, from capcom side, no ken, no vergil, no dimitri (from darkstalkers) but we get, roll, tron bonn, and frank west, and jesus christ, no megaman?! Im really dissapointed, but at least the gameplay rocks!!

  it’s been ten years of wait for this game and they have a decent cast of characters but they could do better I mean mike haggar I would prefer zangief, volnutt and roll listen instead of bringing pointless megaman characters like those since you have zero why not put in x and sigma. also jill from resident evil 5 must be in it, also if you are having dante from devil may cry 3 put in vergil he is very important. bring back gambit also thanos. where is cammy she should be in it, since thor is there put in loki. also think about the green goblin. from capcom strider and captain commando must return. also looking foward to cable and sentinel. to finish my reply no cast of characters is complete without the great and powerful akuma or gouki however you call him.

  All of my people also complete agree 100 % that Selene must be in McV3

  She’d be a great character for a game like this.

  I am heartbroken that this game doesn’t have Guile. I wish I could just move on and accept these changes readily, but sadly I cannot.

  I wish Zangief and Ken were in too, this a major let down…forget Capcom…they should just keep it Street Fighter vs Marvel.

  Also, where is Strider and Megaman…those guys were solid.

  I really hope this isn’t all the characters. I too feel that the game wouldn’t feel right without Stryder [they put Deadpool in, but he’s no Stryder]. Also, I really REALLY hope that they put in Vergil [Dante’s twin brother] in this game. Hey, they put the DMC3 version of Dante in, why not put that DMC3 version of Vergil in as well. He’s just as badass as his brother, especially in that game. Plus, they both fight ENTIRELY different from each other, so he wouldn’t and/or shouldn’t have to be just an alternate costume.

  Punisher, Daredevil, the knight out of Ghouls & Ghosts, Kingpin, Mr Fantastic (the others wouldn’t have been great… The Thing would’ve been the same as Hulk, Human Torch wouldn’t have worked and there’s no real point in being invisible, hey).

  OK lest start with the fact that i can name at least 3 games that have a roster that can can kick this games ass, Raging Blast 2 has over 85 E-fing characters Naruto 39, Even Marvel vs capcom 2 has more characters i would’ve been happy considering what the next gen consoles are capable of i would’ve kept the sameformat with the cartoon graphics n just added a gazillion more i dunno where the think the roster is gonna satisfy the puplic well maybe 8 – 10 year olds but for people who wanna take this game seriously i dunno but it seems everywhere i go everybodys complaining about the damm game

  @Ayamack I agree with you with the disappointment in capcom character. It seems to me since they brought back magneto and storm giving in to all those MSP players they could at least have keep people like Ken, strider, or guile. They kept half of the marvel roster and gave capcom a complete makeover, and from what I heard is the only reason they’re putting akuma in is because the old skool mvc2 players won’t relate to all those new characters on capcom side, instead they needed put in someone so they can keep the people satisfied. But still why did they not keep Ken, but kept ryu like he is the only person people like fighting with from street fighter. And who do I know from anywhere in the world that plays with c.viper I say no one I know. And why put Dante and trish in the game, to me Trishs space couldve been filled by Ken or guile along with she-hulks position. I’m really disappointed that MSP players can still have their cake and eat it too

Who in the world wants to play megaman when Zero is included anyway? And why have 3 different versions of Ryu? Its not SF vs Marvel its capcom vs marvel. I actually wanted Alex from SF 3 in there he was an awesome character but oh well. I do think the resident evil game got alot of entries. I mean chris, jill, and wesker?   The thing about Ken is that he’s always been there at Ryus side. All the games, the movies, the series. He’s a big part. I mean in the first game multiplayer was Ken vs Ryu. I think he’s far more important then Akuma. The three of them are basically the same character but It’s not about how they play. For us who do more then just play the games, Ken is important(for example we who have watched sf2v, great anime starring Ken and Ryu… He’s probably gonna be a dlc(unfortunately) but that’s not certain and don’t get me started over the dlc in this game…. Yeah Im a frucking nerd when it comes to this!

     i heard rumors that its a way to get ken and more missing characters by downloading them off the internet or something about buying them with your gamestop card. My nephew has the game on xbox 360 and he told me he unlocked ken by doing the missions but i dont know how true that is!!!!!!! But ive been a street fighter fan since i was a kid and i dont see how ken is on part 2 and not 3 that just aint cool
