Namco vs Capcom and Capcom vs Namco Rumored to Show at Comic Con

Gametrailers has an article up with some information on the new Capcom game to be revealed this weekend at Comic Con. Most surprising part of the information? It’s TWO games. Not one game but two. And it’s different games that are of the same ilk. Namco will produce Namco vs Capcom with the Tekken 6 engine with Katsuhiro Harada producing and Capcom will make Capcom vs Namco with the Street Fighter 4 engine with Yoshinori Ono producing.

Talk about taking rivalties to the next level. Not only will people argue which company is better but they will bicker over which company’s iteration of the game itself is better. Incoming fanboyism in 3… 2… 1…

Of course, this is all rumors. No one has backed up the claim and they probably don’t want to jeopardize the coveted relationship. But Saturday is only a few days away so we’ll know the truth in just a little bit. Stay tuned.
