OilRush powered by Unigine Engine; Beta soon

By on March 5, 2011

Unigine engine is one of the best engines of our current generation. Sadly though, there aren’t any games that can take advantage of it. This might change however with OilRush, a a real-time strategy game based on the group control. It offers mechanics of a classical RTS combined with a Tower Wars genre: control the construction and upgrade of production platforms along with their defence forces, and send battle groups of naval and air units to capture enemy’s platforms and oil rigs.

The game was scheduled for a Q4 2010 release but it pushed back to June 2011. This week, OilRush’s developers announced that they are taking pre-orders for their Windows and Linux version. By pre-ordering the game, you will be able to participate in its beta phase that will start in a few months. Furthermore, you will get exclusive “game related materials”. Enjoy the game’s trailer and admire the the best nuclear bomb that surpasses the one found in World In Conflict!
