Pockie Ninja’s Beta Phase reached 1 million registrations

NGames announced today that their their free-to-play Naruto/Bleach-inspired brawler MMO, Pockie Ninja, has surpassed 1 million registrations during its beta phase. Pockie Ninja’s Closed Beta started on March 11th that was followed by its Open Beta on March 25th. NGames also revealed earlier this month that they have plans for a comic series based on Pockie Ninja.

Pockie Ninja appeals to gamers and anime fans alike, marrying two of the most popular manga series of all time; Naruto and Bleach; with familiar MMO gameplay, polished presentation and innovate features. The explosion in popularity means NGames have already had to purchase several new servers for the beta testing phase, ensuring a lag free experience for the game’s now 1 million strong army of budding Ninja’s.

Players can assume the role of a number of fan favourite characters from the Naruto and Bleach series’ – including Naruto Uzumaki, Itachi Uchiha and Renji Abarai; taking part in visually stunning fights that utilize a massive array of special moves and customised items.
