Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot hits XBLA, coming to PSN in April

Konami Digital announced today the release of Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot to XBLA. The game costs 800 Microsoft Points, and will also be released for PlayStation Network in April. The game is a modern take on the classic 80s “run’n’gun” arcade side-scrolling game, with the player guiding a CIA operative code- named Wolf Spider  through a heavily-guarded Russian prison camp as he attempts to rescue an agent who was abandoned at the close of the Cold War.

As players explore the multi-directional-scrolling environment, they can sneak in and out of cells, use stealth to take out guards, and use a series of weapons that they find to protect themselves. Some of the key moves from the new game include main character’s ability to attack while sliding, executing while in stealth, and taking on multiple adversaries.
