Greetings WoW-heads!  I’ve got just a bit of WoW badassery for you! Tired of chatting on Vent using your old school ratty headset that you got free for signing up for some fly by night VOIP service back in the day?  Hate how the sound quality on most headsets just plain blows?  I know I am.

Thank the Naaru for he folks over at SoundBlaster. I present to thee, the SoundBlaster World of Warcraft Wireless headset.  Feast thine eyes:

Bells and whistles, galore.  Seriously, Xzibit would approve of this headset.  THX surround sound, detachable microphone, programmable leds, customizable faction emblems, a built-in rechargeable battery, built in volume controls… sorry, I’m getting a bit emotional here.  It’s just so… epic.

And well, the part I’m looking forward to the most is the built-in voice morpher!  No more will I have to worry about my high-pitched nasally drawl being broadcast over the interwebs!  I’ll show them who’s raid leader now.  More dots!

The headsets will connect to your PC or Mac via USB, via a 2.4GHz wirless dongle.  A wired version is also in the works.

Creative is taking Pre-Orders now, and looks to ship “Soon.”  In terms of pocket damage, you’re gonna find your RL coffers short $160.  I’m gonna wanna try these bad boys out before I shell out the cash, perhaps.  I mean, if I played World of Warcraft, that is.  Who even plays that?
