Transformers: War for Cybertron – Release Date Set

Cyber-greetings Cybertronians!  Guess what’s going on.  A new transformers game, that’s what!  Transformers: War for Cybertron has officially been slated by Activision!  Being developed by High Moon Studios (makers of Dark Watch) and set to release in June of 2010, this new video game installment in the franchise looks to be a fanboy’s wet dream… if judged by the trailer alone.  Fans have called the art style very much in line with the Transformers: The War Within comic book series (That’s a good thing). And you’ve gotta admit, Optimus Prime is one of the longest-reigning lords of badassery.  I guess Conan the Barbarian is up there too.

Rumor has it, a new trailer is dropping this Tuesday, January 12! More news to come!  In the meantime, visual feast on!
