Warhammer 40.000: Dawn Of War II – Retribution – The Last Standalone Coming To PC This April
THQ announced that the co-operative Last Stand mode from Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War II – Retribution will be released as a standalone downloadable title on 20th April. The Last Standalone will allow new comers to play all of the content available for the Last Stand without the need to own a copy of Retribution or any experience with RTS games.
Players who then wish to experience competitive multiplayer or the single player campaign for Dawn of War II – Retribution can then upgrade their product to the full version at reduced price.
“We saw this as a unique opportunity to introduce new players to the Dawn of War franchise as well as expanding the player base for the already popular Last Stand mode.” said Jeff Lydell, Producer of Dawn of War II Retribution.
Warhammer40.000: Dawn of War II – Retribution – The Last Standalone is scheduled to be available to purchase from Steam for $10 on 20th April.
