Tekken Movie – Live Action Trailer

Hola gamers! Tekken fans, hear me! A movie has been made about your favorite franchise, and the trailer is out! I repeat, the trailer is out!
I think you guys should watch this first…

Kinda feels like when your 7th grade gym teacher used to look at you “funny,” huh? Yep.

I’m really hoping I’m just being ultra cynical and that this movie does awesomely in the box office.   The trailer feels like a mashup of Mortal Kombat Annihilation, The Quest, Street Fighter, and Legend of Chun Li… all rolled into one.  That couldn’t possibly be good thing.

Personal highlight of this trailer: Cary Tagawa as Heihachi.  You might remember him as the sorceror-badass Shang Tsung from the first Mortal Kombat movie.  I think I might have a Tagawa theory.  I think he’s slowly turning into Raiden.  Exhibit A, please:
