Rockstar Announces New DLC Plans for L.A. Noire

By on May 31, 2011

As with most games nowadays, L.A. Noire will be enhanced pretty soon with new content via the DLC route. And what can you expect for L.A. Noire’s future DLC’s? More missions, collectibles and challenges. Call us unimpressed. Seriously, this DLC thing is getting out of control. We can already see it coming. New DLC for Fifa 12 that will feature more teams, stadiums, sponsors and team kits. Those who purchase it will also receive some extra, exclusive chants.

Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games said:

“With its blend of real crime influences and noir atmosphere, L.A. Noire contains boundless potential for new stories and new cases. The four new cases are strong standalone stories that sit perfectly alongside the main game.”

Additionally, Rockstart launched the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass which gives players access to all seven paid DLC’s. There is a 50% discount so we strongly suggest it to all those gamers that want to get all the new DLC content. It will cost you $10. On the other hand, if you want to get only the DLC cases, you’ll have to pay $8 (each case will cost $2).

Rockstar plans to release four unique cases, two detective suits and a collectible challenge. Xbox 360 Achievements and PlayStation Trophies will also be available in each of the four cases.

“The Naked City” Vice case and “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case are launched today, while the “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson case and the “Reefer Madness” Vice case will be made available this Summer.
