Darkness Within PC Collector’s Edition Announced

By on April 14, 2011

Iceberg Interactive revealed today the upcoming release of the Darkness Within Collector’s Edition (PC). The Darkness Within Collector’s Edition retail box bundles Lovecraft-inspired horror adventure games Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder and its saga-concluding sequel Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage, as well as exclusive bonus materials. The Collector’s Edition is set to hit retail shops across the UK, Nordic, Benelux and German territories on – very fittingly – Friday the 13th of May 2011.

Developer Zoetrope Interactive’s Darkness Within series is truly a game saga that will send shivers up your spine by taking players to a disturbing corner of the human psyche; exploring nightmares, the occult, and a frightening psychological world.

Iceberg Interactive Retail Sales Director Howard Newmark says: “Darkness Within has evolved into a superb mindboggling epic in the dark adventure games genre. Playing the Darkness Within games means slowly losing grip on reality and being sucked into a Lovecraftian macabre world where dreams and reality become one blurry nightmare. Expect things to get scary, dark and bizarre and don’t keep your hopes up for that rosy ending.”

Darkness Within Collector’s Edition is now available for pre-ordering with free shipping up until the release in the Iceberg Webshop
