Deus Ex: Human Revolution PC version not being solely developed by the team at Eidos Montreal

Here are some interesting news. According to ShackNews‘ latest interview with Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s game director, Jean-François Dugas, the PC version is not being solely developed by the team at Eidos Montreal. Dugas claimed that the company is partnershipping with the Netherlands-based developer Nixxes Software BV for Human Revolution’s PC version.

All the design and changes to the design has been done in Montreal and sent to [Nixxes],” said Dugas. “We review the builds. We review and then give comments about what works and what doesn’t. It’s the same process. It’s the exact same process, except that the programmers aren’t in the same office. It’s the same game and the same creative team taking care of it.”

There isn’t any reason for PC gamers to worry about… yet. If you’re wondering then yes, the main platform is X360. Still we are confident that Nixxes Software BV will deliver a good PC version. After all, this studio was behind the PC version of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Tomb Raider Underworld. These games didn’t have any technical issues so we are really looking forward to it!
