Revolution Under Siege Released
By David Scarpitta on April 1, 2011
Kalypso Media Digital announced the digital release of Revolution under Siege, a turn-based strategy game focusing on the Russian Civil War of 1917-1923. The game is developed by AGEOD and is currently available through several digital download portals.
In Revolution under Siege, players take a ragtag group of volunteers and create the powerful Red Army, using all the weaponry and equipment at their disposal, including planes, tanks, armored trains, Cheka troops and the famous Red Cavalry. Or, on the opposite side, players gather all the nation’s patriots and reform the elite divisions that shall save Holy Mother Russia.
Features of Revolution under Siege:
- A map of unrivalled precision covers territories stretching from Poland to the Pacific Ocean
- Rich historical accuracy – units, commanders and even specific soldiers are intricately modeled
- Create massive armies from groups of volunteers and send them to victory
- Use diplomacy to get foreign nations involved in the war. New allies will endlessly change the course of your games!
- Play through unique campaigns covering each of the years of the war in Russia, as well as the Finnish Civil War (1918) and the Russian-Polish war (1920).
