Assassins Creed: Brotherhood PC got leaked almost one week before release

By on March 15, 2011

It’s really funny and sad at the same time. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for the PC is scheduled for a European release on March 18 and a North American release on March 22. Ubisoft decided to please PC gamers by abandoning the harsh DRM system they were using in their previous games and guess what. The game got leaked and is fully playable in offline mode.

Yeap, you read it right. Not only someone leaked it to various torrent sites, but there is already a working crack for it. Which makes us wonder… was it wise for Ubisoft to drop their always-online DRM? It’s true that the game was unreasonably delayed but still. Ubisoft doesn’t deserve such a big slap in their face!

sure they do. drm has nothing to do with it. I don’t think it would have even slowed the crackers down.

Ubisoft definitely deserves that! I mean they delayed the release so we had to get it…ourselves..OUR way !!!

i just wonder how come they weren’t aware that assassins would leak the game before release ?

Ubisoft deserves that, because they need to respect the consumers.

They got what came to them as they didnt actually improve the game’s graphics or add to the ingame features for PC. With such a late release they should think twice about that next time if they want to keep it to a bog-standard port!
