Cry Of Fear mod for Half-Life 1 is simply mind-blowing

Like iD’s entire flagship, Half-Life was friendly to the mod community. As a result of this, we got some amazing mods for it. Hell, one of the best FPS was actually a mod for Half-Life. But let’s face it, Half-Life is old and most of the teams moved on to either HL2 or to other games. So we were taken by surprised by Team Psykskallar’s latest work. Cry Of Fear looks amazing and keep in mind that this is a Half-Life mod. Although the engine is dated, Team Psykskallar managed to pull out some incredible graphics. Screenshots after the jump.

Cry Of Fear is a single player modification for Half-Life which brings you the horror you’ve always been afraid of. It’s a total conversion, which basically means that it doesn’t use any of Half-Life’s assets. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in other Half-Life mods, such as advanced cut-scenes.

Cry Of Fear will be released in 2011. Enjoy the following screenshots!
