GeForce GTX590 and GTX550Ti are upon us

By on February 17, 2011

EVGA released by mistake a new driver version of ForceWare that included some juicy new information. In the driver’s INF file, we spotted two new, supported cards. These are: GTX590 and GTX550Ti. GeForce GTX 590 is a dual GF110 GPU solution with 3GB GDDR5 memory while GTX 550 Ti is based on GF116-400, comes with 1GB GDDR5 memory. This clearly means that both the much-anticipated GTX590 and the GTX550Ti are almost upon us.

EVGA took down the drivers from their site without any explanation. According to EVGA’s JacobF, the driver is no longer available at this time and this has nothing to do with any major bugs. The reason is quite obvious and must be the one we found out. Nvidia probably didn’t want this information to get leaked but, it’s too late now. We can’t wait to see what the GTX590 dual-card will offer us. Stay tuned for more!
