Halo: Reach Defiant Map Pack leaked
Several leaked pictures of Halo: Reach’s second map pack, apparently titled “Defiant Map Pack” have been leaked onto the internets lately, much to the dismay of Bungie and Microsoft.
French Halo Fan site Halo Destiny posted several images of which they claim are of the new maps and they certainly sound impressive… The apparent offical titles of the maps are “Condemned,” “Unearthed” and “Highlands”. Condemned reportedly takes place aboard a human frigate, while Unearthed plays host to more open spaces. As for Highlands, its most prominent feature appears to be a giant Covenant cruiser in the process of glassing a planet. Sweet news all round for Halo fans.
For a cheeky sneak peak at screenshots of the new maps, check out this Flickr account. The map “Highlands” is titled training preserve in the album and bares a striking resemblance to Halo 3’s “High Ground” map. We suspect that Bungie will issue a formal press release soon so expect more information to come.
