Risk: Factions Brings The Battle To Steam
By David Scarpitta on March 9, 2011
Ah, Risk. Who can forget this strategic board game? And although it’s really sad to witness the decline of board games, there is no reason to be disappointed. EA is bringing our beloved game to a whole new dimension. RISK: Factions is the digital reinvention of Hasbro’s globally popular strategy game that allows PC gamers to deploy armies of humans, cats, robots, zombies and yetis in the battle for world domination.
The game is available through Steam for $9.99. The game features both objective-based and world conquest (Classic) modes, new maps with dynamic terrain, online multiplayer options and five playable factions to chose from.
