SLI fix for Test Drive Unlimited 2

By on April 3, 2011

We are quite surprised that Nvidia hasn’t released any SLI profile for Test Drive Unlimited 2 yet. We were hoping that the latest ForceWare drivers would include one, but they didn’t. According to a user in Nvidia’s forums however, there is a way to enable SLI without any negative impact. As always, you’ll need Nvidia Inspector tool to edit your Test Drive Unlimited 2’s profile. SLI fix after the jump!

What you’ll have to do is open Nvidia Inspector tool and then select the Driver Profile Settings. Browse the list in the new window and find Test Drive Unlimited 2’s profile. Now edit the default SLI compatibility bit with the following one: “0x42100105″. Apply your changes, save and close Nvidia Inspector and enjoy Test Drive Unlimited 2 with SLI. The scaling is great, although as you may know, the game is CPU bound. Enjoy.

Man i wish i had known that when the game was release, still i might give it a try again with my wheel this time instead of a controller.
